Daily Devotional Prayer: Isaiah 53:6 NLT
[6] All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful You've pardoned us, though we've all sinned and have fallen short of God's standards. Father, we're thankful Jesus restored our relationship with You because we were once Your enemies. Father, we are thankful Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law. Father, I pray we will not shun God’s light that came into the world. I pray we will not love darkness more than the light because our actions were evil. Father, I pray we will no longer be separated from God. Father, I pray that we - Your sheep - will know the Shepherd's voice, and we will not follow a stranger. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
