[46] And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord [47] and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, [48] for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed,

Prayer:

Father, we are thankful that You have sent us a Savior. Father, we are thankful that Jesus left His glory in heaven to be born of a woman here on earth. Father, we are thankful that You selected a virgin to bring forth Your Son. Father, we are thankful that You chose a humble servant who believed in Your promises. Father, I pray that we will each find the purpose You've planned for our lives. Father, I pray that we will say, 'yes' to Your divine calling. Father, I pray that our mind, will, and emotions will praise the Lord in advance. Father, I pray that our spirit will rejoice in You, our God, for Your goodness. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
