[28] Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. 

Prayer:

Father, we are thankful that we are called to love our neighbors, as we love ourselves. Father, we are thankful that You are the God who fights for us. Father, we are thankful that the battle is not ours, it belongs to the Lord. Father, we are thankful that we are instructed to hold our peace. Father, we are thankful that faithful and trustworthy are the wounds of a friend who corrects us. Father, I pray that we will aim to owe no man anything, but to love him. Father, I pray that we will trust that love hides a multitude of sins. Father, I pray that our hearts will be filled with compassion and forgiveness for those who persecute us. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
