Hebrews 13:17 NLT

[17] Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful there is no authority except from God. Father, we're thankful that we can pray and intercede on the behalf of those in authority so we can live peaceful and quiet lives. Father, we are thankful that You are a God of order. Father, we're thankful for those in authority because they are God’s ministers to us for good. Father, I pray that we'll pray for the authorities that exist because they are appointed by God. Father, I pray we will not resist the ordinance of God. Father, I pray we'll let Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
