1 Thessalonians 5:15 NIV

[15] Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful we overcome evil, with good. Father, we're thankful You've empowered us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as in Christ - God forgave us. Father, we are thankful that when we love one another, everyone will know that we are Your disciples. Father, I pray that if our enemy is hungry, we'll feed him; and if he is thirsty, we'll give him something to drink. Father, I pray we will not seek an eye for an eye. Father, I pray we'll be like the good Samaritan. Father, I pray we'll love our neighbor as we love ourselves. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
