Hebrews 4:9 NIV

[9] There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God...

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful that it's those who believe the promise of entering God's rest, who do enter into His rest. Father, we're thankful the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed. Father, we are thankful that those who enter into God’s rest also rest from their works, just as God did from His. Father, we're thankful that the Sabbath was made for the people. Father, I pray that we'll labor to enter into Your rest. Father, I pray we'll trust in the Son of Man, who is also the lord of the Sabbath. Father, I pray we'll mix the Word with faith so we may enter in Your rest. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
