Daily Devotional Prayer: 1 Peter 4:16 NIV
[16] However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful that we know what it is to be in need, and we know what it is to have plenty. We're thankful we've learned to be content in any, and in every situation: whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Father, we are thankful that after we've suffered a little while, the God of all Grace, will himself: restore us and make us strong, firm, and steadfast. Father, I pray we'll trust that even if we should suffer for what is right, we are still blessed. Father, I pray we'll endure hardness as a good soldier. Father, I pray we'll fight the good fight of faith. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen!
