Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

[18] “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. [19] See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Prayer:

Father, we are thankful that You've allowed us another year. Father, we are thankful that You are doing something new in our lives. Father, we are thankful for the opportunity to move forward. Father, we are thankful that the spirit searches all things, and reveals them to us. Father, we are thankful for a new day, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Father, I pray that we'll leave past disappointments behind. Father, I pray that we will sing because all things have been made new. Father, I pray that we will lean on the everlasting arm of the Lord. Father, I pray that we will trust that You are making everything new. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
