Daily Devotional Prayer: Psalms 42:11 NIV
[11] Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Father, we are thankful that in Your presence is fullness of joy. Father, we are thankful that at Your right hand there are pleasures forever more. Father, we are thankful that though weeping may endure for a night, joy comes in the morning. Father, we're thankful that they that sow in tears shall reap with songs of joy. Father, I pray that we'll put on the garment of praise. Father, I pray we won't allow our hearts to be trouble or afraid. Father, I pray we'll seek the peace of God, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Father, I pray that those who are suffering hardships will look to You in prayer. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
