Daily Devotional Prayer: Romans 1:17 NIV
[17] For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
Prayer:
Father, we are thankful for the Good News of the Gospel, and its message of salvation. Father, we are thankful that Jesus is our Jehovah Tsidkenu, the Lord of our Righteousness. Father, we are thankful for the righteousness which comes by faith in Jesus Christ. Father, we are thankful that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Father, I pray that we will not rely on our own efforts and goodness. But Father, I pray that we will believe like Abraham, and have it counted for righteousness.
Father, I pray that we will receive our right standing with God from our faith in Jesus. And Father, I pray that we will share the Gospel with everyone we meet. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
