1 John 4:9 NLT

[9] God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 

Prayer: 

Father, we're thankful that real love is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Father, we're thankful Jesus came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. Father, we're thankful that God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him - we might become the righteousness of God. Father, we're thankful that being justified by faith we have peace with God. Father, I pray that we'll give thanks for Your plan of redemption. Father, I pray that we'll give thanks for the cross. Father, I pray we'll give thanks for the cleansing Blood of Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
