James 1:22 NLT

[22] But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful we can meditate in Your Word day and night that we may observe, and do all that is written in it. Father, we're thankful that meditating in Your Word helps us to prosper and succeed in all we do. Father, we are thankful that You work in us both to will, and to work according to Your good pleasure. Father, I pray that Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Father, I pray we'll believe in the Lord Jesus. Father, I pray that we'll trust in the Lord, and lean not on our own understanding. Father, I pray we'll walk in the Spirit. Father, I pray that we'll love our neighbors as we love ourselves. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
