Daily Devotional Prayer: Ephesians 5:1 NLT
[1] Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful that we were adopted into the family of God. Father, we're thankful that we have been given the measure of God's faith. Father, we are thankful that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us, and He quickens our mortal bodies. Father, we are thankful we're made in Your image, and likeness. Father, I pray that Your thoughts will be our thoughts, and Your ways will be our ways. Father, I pray that we'll walk as God's representatives here on earth. Father, I pray that we'll walk in love because God is love. Father, I pray that like Jesus, we too will be the light that shines in darkness wherever we go. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
