Daily Devotional Prayer Prayer: Proverbs 23:24 NIV
[24] The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful that children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father. Father, we're thankful that the righteous man walks in his integrity; and his children are blessed after him. Father, we are thankful when we train up a child in the way he should go, he will not depart from that path when he is older. Father, I pray that our children will walk in the fear and reverence of the Lord. Father, I pray we'll bring up our children with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord. Father, I pray that as the Lord corrects those he loves, I pray that fathers will correct the child in whom he delights. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
