Daily Devotional Prayer: Romans 6:5 NIV
[5] For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful we've been crucified with Christ; it is no longer we who live, but Christ lives in us. Father, we're thankful that anyone who has died in Christ has been set free from sin. Father, we are thankful we can offer ourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of ourselves to him as an instrument of righteousness. Father, I pray we'll trust that we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Father, I pray we'll walk as free men and women, no longer slaves to sin. Father, I pray we'll walk as new creations in Christ. Father, I pray we'll count ourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
