Psalms 3:3 NIV

[3] But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful that after we've suffered for a while, the God of all grace will Himself: restore us, secure us, strengthen us, and establish us. Father, we're thankful You anoint our heads with oil. Father, we're thankful You prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Father, we are thankful that our gifts make room for us. Father, I pray that we'll trust that promotion comes from God. Father, I pray we'll be the head, and not the tail. Father, I pray we'll excel in our work; I pray we'll stand before kings. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
