1 Peter 5:8 NLT

[8] Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful we are commanded to put on the whole armor of God that we may stand against the wiles of the devil. Father, we're thankful we can resist the devil and he will flee from us. Father, we are thankful that through praise You have established a stronghold against our enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. Father, we are thankful we can watch and pray so we will not fall into temptation. Father, I pray we will live in the Spirit. Father, I pray we'll pray without ceasing. Father, I pray we'll draw near to God, and He will draw near to us. Father, I pray we will rejoice in the Lord, always. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
