Daily Devotional Prayer: 1 Peter 5:6 NIV
[6] Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Prayer:
Father, we're thankful that before honor is humility. Father, we're thankful that promotion comes not from the east, west, nor south - but from God. Father, we're thankful that when we humble ourselves, and pray - you'll hear from heaven, and heal our land. Father, I pray that in all of our ways we'll acknowledge You. Father, I pray we'll cease from being wise in our own eyes - revere the Lord, and shun evil. Father, I pray we'll trust the righteousness of God which is by faith, instead of relying on our own self efforts. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
