Proverbs 17:17 NIV

[17] A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful that Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother. Father, we're thankful that there is no greater love than a man who will lay down his life for his friends. Father, we are thankful that we are our brother's keeper. Father, we are thankful that as iron sharpens iron, so does one friend sharpen another. Father, we're thankful that two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. Father, I pray that we'll encourage one another, and build each other up. Father, I pray we'll carry each other’s burdens, and in this way we'll fulfill the law of Christ. Father, I pray we'll choose our friends wisely because bad company corrupts good character. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
