Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV

[8] For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— [9] not by works, so that no one can boast. 

Prayer:

Father, we're thankful for the gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Father, we're thankful for the gift of salvation. Father, we are thankful we've been made the righteousness of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Father, we are thankful for Jesus' finished work on the cross. Father, we're thankful for Your plan of redemption. Father, I pray that we'll praise You for the undeserved favor You've bestowed upon us. Father, I pray that we'll trust that the work of God is that we believe in the One He has sent. Father, I pray that we'll know it's not by might, nor by power, but by God's Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
